    Our pair of hounds:

Big black one is Caddy - he's a retired racing greyhound, and the regal looking brindle one is Sophie, who's a saluki greyhound cross (with a bit of whippet in there (we think))...

They're really good actually, Caddy has had a bit of a chew of a couple of remotes, and you can't leave anything out cos he can reach the back of the worktops, but other than that they're both very well behaved

I have a 3 year old choc lab, still a loon and when he snores you know about it.

I have shown pics of my old lab, here are some of the three i have now.

    Skye, 11months old.

Star age 3, his half sister lives nextdoor to us.

My old boy Jake, he is now 8 but acts younger than the others

I used to have a Great Dane named Bailey who was tall enough that kitchen work surfaces were just buffet table high to him. After the diarrhoea he got from eating a 500g camembert, I thought he would have learned, but he ate a packet of 12 mince pies and drank most of a pint of cream one Christmas.

The next day all of the silver foil pie cases came out the other end, like Christmas decorations. So pretty.

Some lovely pics in here. I should really buy myself a cheap digital camera.

Don't have many pics of my dog, but on the naughty puppy scale he almost swallowed next doors mongrel whole earlier

Good thread going here everyone. Although you are completely wrong of course. May I introduce Ben our border collie sheepdog puppy who is by far the naughtiest candidate here...

OK I just have to show you Bailey. This was the day we adopted him.

Bailey was deaf, so while he was quite a naughty boy, he had a good excuse; he couldn't hear your screams.

Bailey used to grab things (mainly toys and cushions, but once scissors and once a machete - Be very afraid) and run around with them studiously avoiding eye contact. If he made eye contact you could make the sign for "Stop that and drop it", but if not, he was free.

Bailey was actually a harlequin, so this is so you can see his black patches.

And by contrast, the greatest dog that ever lived, the one, the only Rolf.

I like this about britain , the love they have for animals.

Personally this is why I think this country is blessed because of that.

The country respects all walks of life.

    Big up to GREAT Britain

My 3 dogs all seemed to go through the same stages of destruction.
As puppies they'd chew and destroy just about anything, then after about a year they'd be as lovely as a cold beer on a hot summers afternoon
    BUT
When they got to around 3 years old they got all destructive again
I put it down to "the terrible twos" as puppies, then raging hormone/teenage angst when they were 3.
It still amazes me how a dog can chew through a 240V cable and not get injured

I lost my last tomato plant and all of the raspberries this morning. And I still have a huge hole in the lawn to fill in and re-seed.
