I am looking to expand my knowledge by investing in some literature. I want to learn more about windows 2003 server, active directory, networks, cisco routers & switches.

I know books can be expensive, but i am looking for some introductory type books, nothing to heavy,

Any recommendations ?

Have you tried student bookshops/areas? There may be places selling 2nd hand books on the subject

Networking for Dummies should be anice and easy introduction to a lot of that.
I bought one a few months back for a fiver from somewhere, although I haven't had much time to read much of it yet.
