Its nothing to do with the law, they can keep changing it to whatever they want, but it will have little effect.
If parents raise there children properly we wouldn't be living in such a bad place.

I live in a pretty bad area with a whole mix of different people for neighbors, and the rude, aggressive kids are the ones who have parents who are either out drinking at the local instead of being at home with their 6 year old, and/or sitting outside their house all day, every day drinking lambrini, and/or isn't interested where their children are at 9 in the evening.

Most of them are young teenagers with little education and living off income support. Its children trying to raise children, it just doesn't work.

I honestly think before women are allowed to give birth they have to go through a parenting course or some sort, or have an IQ over 70.

If these kids started getting arrested for anti social behaviour then I reckon in most cases the parents would start to wonder what is going on. Unless they are the severe cases like you mentioned Deluded.

Another way of doing it would be arrest the kids the first time round with a fine and warning going to the parents. Then after that the parents will be prosecuted if not rectified. Similar to the way they are doing the truancy thing. Hit both angles and it could well work.

Yeah, I think a lot of parents honestly don't have a clue what their teenagers are doing. If it was brought to their attention by the police I would hope that some of them would be more involved in their children's lives.

That's given me a great Richard Littlejohn idea; we should devise a 'Battle Royale' type event whereby we ship both our antisocial children and paedophiles to a remote island with a supply of assorted weaponry and let things sort themselves out. Two birds with one stone!

Of course, I suppose the Brussels bereaucrats and their human rights will be up in arms the lunatics have taken over the asylum this country's going to hell in a handcart you couldn't make it up its political correctness gone mad etc etc etc.

Surely its the rude/abusive/baligerant kids that are to blame, not those drinking?

This would be simply stupid, as one of the great things kids find with drugs, is that they will be sold them.

I agree Blackmage, only thing the raising of the limit will do is p*ss me off when I go to buy a few drinks for me after a long day at work to drink at home in front of the telly. (I'm 19, started drinking in pubs etc when I was 18)

Maybe the police should be armed with cattle prods and be allowed to electrocute the little f*****s, then leave them to get mugged off their 'mates'
