    Spammers getting metaphysical?

I just got this in my inbox:

"The ladder leads up through the trapdoor into the attic"

So i was intrigued to say the least..

I replied with some likewise response and of course, as the email address was probably spoofed, it bounced back. The actual address was of some legit company, but the user didn't exist as far as i can tell.

I still haven't got the foggiest what that's supposed to mean, whether it's a very padded Viagra advert or what?!

they usually have embedded images with the actual content of the email in. its just to get past the spam filters. sometimes the image is filtered out though.

Do you have a ladder, trapdoor and attic ? If so, maybe it's time to worry. Maybe it's a cryptic message from someone, and there's something up there you're meant to find. Maybe great riches, a lost van Gogh, a priceless ornament, or maybe just some mint condition Star Wars figures that'll fetch a lot on eBay ?

I got a similar one a few days ago about someone "sailing down a river of knowledge". We do have a loch near us, but it's far from knowledgeable. Nor are the people who go near it, as the quad bike that's at the bottom of it proves.

Or maybe it's from a new up and coming writer ? Trying to tease you with a sentence a day, until the suspense gets too much and you have to run to Tesco to buy the rest of the book ?
