He should of suffered in his cell for longer, but as for him killing himself cool! No loss there.

Thats disgraceful, It shouldn't be possible for ANYONE to commit suicide in prison, let alone a multilifer like Shipman.

That's so true! It would be interesting to know how he killed himself, but I guess that will never be published!! He shouldn't of had the chance...

I didn't even read the article in full, I was so astonished at how this could happen.....

But Brian Caton, of the Prisoners' Association said Shipman had given no indication of suicide in interviews or in his interaction with prison officers.

He told BBC News: "I don't think it fair or reasonable to suggest prison officers at Wakefield Prison were lax."

Apparently he'd just had his privs revoked and was on "basic" regime - in the light of recent reports on conditions in Wormwood Scrubs, one wonders whether some encouragement was involved, albeit that he was in a different jail (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/st...104472,00.html).

Glad he's dead TBH. Now just Ian Huntley left and the world will be two less pieces of scum!

And i think its a bloody shame hes dead, what gives him the right to do that... when he murdered all those innocent people?

I'm against suicide but I think it should be up to your own free will and someone shouldn't be able to stop you from taking your own life, there's no point in forcing him to be alive just so we can punish him more.
