Does anyone actually get 24hours use out of those 24hour deodorants?

I'm trying the Mitchum Roll On one at the moment and it seems better than the Sure Sensitive Roll On.

better in what sense? long-lasting or sensitivity?

If it's any consolation, Wims deodorants aren't much better either. None of the ones I've tried seem to last more than 4 hours, let alone 24...

it was actually a womens deodorant ad that sparked my interest in making this thread

What soap do you use?

I used to use just dove but noticed during the day i was stinking. now i use cussons or something
antibacterial soap just on my pits. I dont stink at all now and i dont use any antiperspirant or deodorant.

Dry pits for 24 hours has just gotta be impossible cos if it worked how would you EVER get it off again?

I mean....use ceiling plaster for that.

For good smells.....different kettle of fish.

Virgin make a really good range of sprays I use one called Day Spa, which, I think, is supposed to be for women, BUT as with all things, it changes with the person it's on, and I love it.

A good liquid spray (ie pump spray, not aerosol) is an essential for every mans glovebox

i just use some generic shower gel, but surely anti-bacterial type soaps would break down/do harm to your skin over time?

i didnt know they did pump/liquid sprays, dont believe i've ever seen them

I am not sure that there is anything special about the soap it was just the only one which had an
obvious anti bacterial label on it. I would have thought other soaps which are not so moisturising would
work such as 'shield'. I havent had any problems with it so far been using it for about 6 months now.

ill take a look at the packaging and see what it is and contains.

The Gillet anti perspirant, artic ice, Right Guard extreme was pretty good and also Mitchem spray on was also about the same sorta time.
