Why on earth doesn't YouTube have a censored words list for the comments section? I'm just happily watchin some funny vids then someone has to go write "you're an f'in p*ki (without my censorship)" or some anti-sectarian piece of garbage. Why do I need to read this crap? More so, why is it even allowed? Grr!

and thats why i never read their comments. it's great on a laptop screen, i get the video and nothing else below it
Well they have the Digg style voting system now.. so just vote down..
yeah spam is out of control on youtube every other comment is either come to blahblah.com or read this and die unless you post it on every other bloody video
I've set up moderated comments on my videos now; I think YouTube should set that as a default because I'm removing all sorts of nonsense all the time now.
People always have something to say, and unfortunately the best place to say it is the internet as you can hide behind your dirty, gritty, filthy finger-marked monitor screen. They also feel the need to express hatred or whatnot so they are "seen".
The internet has grown into a place for retards. And its not going to get any better...

Comments = suck on YouTube most of the time unless the user who has uploaded the video moderates them... but I'm sure that gets pretty hard if your videos get popular. I've been able to keep my video comments clean, but only because there aren't many comments.Originally Posted by Steve B
