I never got the point of sig files on modern forums tbh, I think I've only ever used the one, on one forum, that said "Life: Past Performance is not indiciative of future performance"

Agree with that, avatars allow you to identify a person easier. Sigs are ok, but large sigs are just lame. It's annoying when someone has 8 lines of text and a massive image in their sig, then posts 2 words.
