    Furbies

I have 2 furbies. A tigerish adult and a pink baby. I haven't had much time to look after them properly and the tiger one has stopped talking . I put new batteries in both and the baby chats away in furbish but I just can't get a peep out of the adult. Anyone got any ideas please? What can I do? Is it electrical or emotional?

Oh, and neither have names; can anyone suggest names please?

    Re: Furbies

My sister had a furby. We ended up leaving it in the utility room, but the dog got so annoyed with it I think she ended up chewing it just to shut the thing up. I can't imagine it tasted good...

    I would try threatening it.

As for names, how about Fur A and Fur B? Or name them after something you like. Starskey and Hutch,r Bo and Luke, Lennon and McCartney, Christina and Britney or whatever.

I suggest burning them personally. I remember my kids having some of the first ones many years ago. Annoying is an understatement.

    Be kind, destroy them NOW!

Funny you should say that -it'll put the kids off em for good.

One of my lecturers at college got so hacked off with his daughters furbie, he set it alight in a fit of pique... thing is, the fur burnt away really quickly, but the placcy chassis didn't, so it ended up looking like a squat terminator, making funny gibberish noises with no cutesy eyelids... Never had a problem again

Great suggestions (and link) so far thanks.....keep 'em coming . Bit worried about this naming plan - if I get more or the ones I've got have kids, will I end up with a little Fur K (er)?

    Re: Furbies

I had a furby and the speaker went, I replaced this and then it was fine again. I've ignored mine for years, and it's never cared.
