Not an unexpected reply to be honest.
In that case don't expect much company from me, i have a habit of falling asleep while being a passenger, especially in the back.
For these rules to work properly, it is essential for you to understand and accept the concept of the "Deed". Shotgun may only be called after the "deed is done". Simply stated, the deed is any activity or objective that directly precedes the ride in the automobile. The deed can be anything ranging from a visit at a friend's house, to a shopping trip at the mall, to a visit to the Grand Canyon. We cannot stress how important this is because this establishes a Shotgun-calling time frame that ensures everyone has an equal chance of recognizing when to call Shotgun.
You Must Be Outside To Call Shotgun
The best way to establish exactly when the deed is done is to define this moment as the instance that you have left the building in which the deed took place. All passengers need not to have exited, but someone must hear you call Shotgun.

I always thought that you had to have the car in sight to be able to call it.
Anyway, you lot are trashing my threads again... go play in Banter or something. (oh to be able to moderate my own forum...)
Oh and we must be such thrilling company if you are to fall asleep on the way there.
it depends on who's playing really...
The Manchester "our kid" variation we use now clearly states the following ;
"shotgun can only be called when the vehicle is within eyesight"
This ensures that everyone stays as a group etc when out and about and also it settles all the arguements and people moaning saying I called shotgun 3 months ago etc and then witnesses forgetting
Wait a second....
Ready Brek ISN'T Porridge?
But it IS central heating for kids?
It's an instant porridge or instant oatmeal cereal
Ready Brek - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
not as course as real porridge, but thats where Ready Brek Oaty comes in i think.
Porridge is Quakers, nothing else. (well... in my household, the same as Beanz Meanz Heinz.)
Whereas I've found that Tescos' Ready Brek substitute is just as good as the real thing. (it's what I live on when I'm ill)
I *might* be able to make it.
*looks round* hey where did everybody go?
We all went home
Question is which is better, porridge or Ready Brek?
