    Personally I get the elves to craft my rope. They seem rather more adept at it than us humans.

    Plus as an added bonus the elf rope inherits some of the magic of its maker, my rope can pull a rabbit out of a hat!! I got Paulumbar Danielserinde from Rivendell to do mine
