Well I came first , £100 prize so got 20x my entry fee (not bad for my first RL experience (played a little online for fun money before))

Had a few scary moments on the final table (had 20000 of the 25000 on the first table I was on) when I was forced to go pratically all in with a pair of 9's, the flop came 9,7,7 and I nearly wet myself (managed to look like I was bluffing when I said I had practically the nuts and the guy made me go all in)

Best 5 hours entertainment for £5 I have had in a long time, going to do it again fo sho

Was 4:1 up at the end, the guy asked if we should split the winnings, he knew I would rather keep playing when I forced him all in with 6-2 off suit, I only had 8-4 but was a good call in the end.

Anyway, enough rambling and I'm a little shakey now after that

Was some luck tbh, but a lot of it was because on the first table most people had a clear tell, when the flop came each time I was the only one looking at the players for a tell instead of my cards


Mind first table I was bullying everyone, had practically all the chips and could see a flop every hand

Ah, wish I won that much when I played at college... but we never had enough players (or chips or cards!)


As a reiteration of my first post, one person today used his debit card to put £100 in the machines. Literally less than 2 minutes later, he was back for another £100, having lost £90 in the 60 or so seconds it took me to process the previous £100.
