Was snowing heavily here in Sheffield this morning. I was in bed but my sister said it was so thick you could hardly even see the houses on the other side of the road (maybe 30ft)! Then it stopped, the sun came out and now it's completely dry and sunny (although the wind is very cold).
It was snowing when I was on the M1 just now, pretty much all the way from Nottingham to the M25 junction. My car is now filthy.

Oh no, my mistake, "climate change".
When things are overly warm, it's global warming, overly cold and it's climate change.
In my day is was all just "the Great British weather"

Yesterday in SW London we had hail and today a tiny tiny bit of snow. When they said it was going to snow this weekend I just thought they meant in the North (not that I've actually seen the weather forecast recently).
Hail here now. Woo

It snowed in east london earlier 9.30am, when i was walking to gym
Yesterday for us, it started sunny but cold, then fine sleet, then chucked it down, then stopped, then heavy hail for 5 mins or so, then stopped again.
Today, I *think* (having been asleep all day ) it's been quite sunny, but freezing too.
Welcome to Britain, where even the weather is undecided.
Its been very interesting up here;
Yesterday - very windy all day, to go with the wind was 1 of 3 things;
1) A break in the clouds, with some nice sun
2) Cloud cover, with driving rain
or
3) Cloud cover, with hail/snow battering on the windows
Led to a slightly interesting story - my sister was meant to be going (with people from work, someone else was driving) from here to Aviemore yesterday, set off at 7:30pm and we got a text at ~9:30pm letting us know she was stuck just outside of Ballater, on the road to Tomintoul.
They police came and sorted them out (and drove the vehicle back to ballater, as the woman driving was going back the way at ~20mph - unsafe in itself really), and she got home here at 2am, less than impressed with the woman who was driving them there - her first time driving her husbans Range Rover, she was rubbish on the snowy roads apparently.
Today, not so bad - not as windy, intermittent snow/hail still though!
