    Re: Modular sockets

    They won't stock it

    I need:

    - Telephone (Slave)
    - Ethernet
    - Aerial

Hence I think online is the only route...

    Re: Modular sockets

TLC Electrical Supplies is where I got all mine from when I was re-wiring this house.

I did almost the exact same thing, I got a double wide and put modules in for ethernet and slave telephone. I also needed two modules for BNC & 2.5mm power for CCTV connections so bought two blank module plates and drilled them and fitted the appropriate screw in sockets for them.

Supprised if Maplins don't do them, I thought they'd do everything. Failing that there's R.S.

    Re: Modular sockets

I got all my sockets from my local electrical wholesalers (conveintly just a 10 min walk down the street). Much cheaper than most places.

I've yet to find someone online who can get them in the flat brushed look, for anything like £8 a unit.

Only downside to the KnightsBridge ones is they don't do a dual saterlight output, which is a bit stupid as i ended up with 2 x (1 sky + 1 uhf) sockets....

I'm intreged thou, whats the benefit of the modular? 2 screws and a standard size whole in the wall not modular enough?
