    Invader Zim

    We've been told to start a new thread, so here we go...

    Why oh why has Invader Zim been cancelled, I know it got axed ages ago, but it; still not fair.

    In case some of you haven't seen the programme it's about Zim (an invading space alien...) and his mental robot helper Grrr

    Come on, even the names sound great, I reckon we should start a web petition to get it up and running again...

    it's a cartoon series by Jhonen Vasquez, who did a number of more... odd... comic books for psychotic people, such as Squee & Fillerbunny

    and it was cancelled because Nickelodeon are a mainstream channel for kids, and had NO idea what to do with an eccentric cult show enjoyed by adults. it last happened with Ren & Stimpy - they really don't know how to cope with anything more taxing than Rugrats.

    it's not just Nick that cancel good shows tho - look at the rape of Family Guy & Futurama by Fox...

    oh my god, that would be so cool. I'd love some Zim figurines. Trust me for those of you that haven;t experienced Invader Zim, it';s just so crazy it's funny!!!

    on that note, if you have Winamp, check the Internet TV section of the Media Library - there's usually a couple of episodes of Zim running in there
