Wow, so it's NOT having the game that causes violence? I DONT KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ANYMORE!

cant seem to view the article, perhaps got pulled? Well from what ive read here i would say that the attacker is retarded and that he/she needs to go to an island and commit suicide. Seriously though, will they start having people/guards searching people in the que? to make sure they are un armed
This happened with alot of things though and since its gta its blown out of proportion(cant read article so sorry if it really isnt xD). Is any1 dead? or just injured?, if some1 tried to mug me over a game i think id just go "what? DIE NOOB" and boom headshot xD, wonder if i will need to bring a stab vest etc .

Explanation:
Due to not yet having purchased the game, GTA4, the perpatrator did not yet know how to use the knife and subsequently when greeting a fellow human being, stabbed him.
If the perpatrator had already purchased GTA4 AND played it, he would have already known, stabbing someone with a knife is not how to greet someone.
You snipe their heads off instead and to make double sure, run them over in your car that you just hijacked.

It's probably an act of foolishness due to lack of sleep/sleep depravation or just a plain nut case.
This could have happened in any late night queue for any game / console / package. But the press will have a field day relating it directly to the fact that it is GTA IV.

don't think it was game related.
