I think Nick you should ditch the Hexus Mic when doing TCAAC and use a wireless one. How often do you see presenters with those type of Mics? It just doesn't go. Fair enough when you do interviews. Also it would free up both hands to shuffle papers and whack Scott.

OK I've had a think and another watch ...

Disagree with your opinions on download and streaming though. A high def film is 25GB (if we now take the standard of Blu-Ray) up to 50GB for double Blu-Rays. How can this be downloaded in 2hrs? Blu-Ray offers uncompressed sound as well. I think the quality will be lacking.

Also CD's are still around, and how long has iTunes been out? How long have all these other purchase song site been out, and I can still walk into Tesco and pick up a CD. MS just wanted its own HDi menus and when Sony went with Java instead MS said stuff you and joined Toshiba for HD-DVD. But MS want downloads to be the answer, no need for physical media, hence them coming up with all these streaming services.

With regards to BBC iPlayer, yeah I use it as catch up TV, I watched The Apprentice this morning as I missed it. its good for catchup TV, but there is something to be said sitting in my living room, with my HDTV and watching a Blu-Ray movie. I agree they should extend the catalogue of shows to a couple of weeks.

I now feel sorry for you guys in Milton Keynes!

Oh what would be nice if you could demo stuff, like the Sony store, XBox Live, Wii etc so people can see what you are on about. I don't have an XBox so have no idea. (yeah I know, money etc ...). Perhaps something for the future?
