Milton Keynes is on the map!

BBC NEWS | England | London | Signal failure hits Euston trains

Up to 600 people were stranded on eight trains when a signal fault halted services at London's Euston station.

Virgin Trains, which operates on the West Coast Main Line, were brought to a standstill when power failed to reach signals near Milton Keynes on Tuesday.

Ok I only live a short distance from it, but surely most people know where MK is..

It's on the main trainline to london, it's just off the M1, it has a stupidly large shopping centre.. and it's like a little piece of America right here in the midlands

Feel sorry for all those people though.. what a day!

    They are called barges

And I only know that because my backgarden is a canal

Imagine owning one of them... imagine how many pubs are next to a canal...

You could have next door service all over the country!

Not that I drink mind... dirty stuff... but I dare say some people on here like a drink or twelve.

That bit about a little piece of the US is somewhat painful for lots of people I know to read. Never mind, Blue Square Southern next season.

99Flake's parents owned the one they were on. And yes, they were more or less parked right next to the pubs in Birmingham! Not that they needed to (one length of a 62 feet narowboat filled with empty cans): -
