Sounds liike fun... how much do you reckon travel expences wuld be though? Considering he's got 4 engines and all that.
I guess we're expected to do quite wellOriginally Posted by Fortune117
That is pretty cool! There was no sound on the video, but I'd imagine it would be very noisy with 4 jet engines right next to you. Also, the kickback from the parachute looked pretty intense as well.
That is pretty cool, man i can't wait till jet packs are the norm or something lol. Imagine a future where we could commute using jet packs. I bet they would still find a way to charge congestion charge.
awesome, makes you wonder, if this is what 1 guy can do, what are they up to in top secret military labs?
I saw that too, I'm guessing thats not his first flight, I certainly woudlnt want to be around all those hills if something went wrong lol
Looks pretty insane, will probably see something like that in the next Bond movie!
just needs a Nazi bad guy to go after now

"Fair nuff"
El reg notes:
A Channel hop? The man's definitely got large ferrous ones...Now with sponsorship from Swiss watch company Hublot, Rossy is back once again with a new and even better wing - quadruple engines, much quicker gas-piston opening, almost 200lb of thrust allowing a climb rate of 1000'/min and fuel for ten minutes of powered flight at 185 mph. That should, as the intrepid birdman says, be enough to get him across the Channel and a bit to spare.

Not in a jetpack.. which is the important bit.
Who cares about men not wearing flying monkey suits? I like flying monkey suits better than I like the other person!
I think we've had the channel crossing in train, boat, car, plane, solo plane, night plane, swimming, balloon, glider and a few other things.

It's one heck of a flight, travelling at approximately 185mph in a device that's mostly controlled by flexing your ass muscles

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Curiously enough just yesterday I was watching Ironman and thinking to myself how unrealistic the whole flying thing was … took a break from it to get something to drink and found myself looking at this amazing story.
Quite amazing to think that yesterday’s futuristic movie gadgets will become tomorrows junk.
Will still take a while before we can drive one of those to work though, wonder what the local council will do for money then.
