there are mods and then there are admins. They are both different. Also whoever sets up the permissions and groups can change what users and groups can do.

Aah I miss the Xev. If I remember he used to be ginger? Poor bugger. Couldn't have been easy for him.

I wonder what he's doing now..... *sigh*

Indeed there are .... but I'm an admin, not a mod.

And yes ..... except that admins can't override super-admin permissions. As DR said .... protected accounts.

Nope. The feature I referred to is embedded in the VB PHP code and a config file, and is not reliant on permissions stored in MySQL. With any other degree of user permission, you'd be right, but not with that one. With direct access to server files, then yes .... but that's how owners and super-admins protect themselves from erm ..... getting banned.

There are mods, there are admins, there are super-admins, and there are those of us that browse the forums via a mysql command prompt.

Which is all fun and games until the database gets poked with a DROP command on a late night drunken browsing session

Re: Where did Xevito go to?

Well a mutual friend kept telling me to come over and say hello, I finally got around to it.

Good to see some of the old faces are still here even the site owner!

Anyway you know where I spend most of my online time, and you are always welcome to visit there.
