There are other ways of giving them money... tea and cake in the canteen, advertising to friends and family, just making a donation, car parking.

Guess which one is my fave?
Car parking? I know which one it isn't, we're forever being told it's a lie!

I have no idea where my pass is, probably new paper somewhere by now... guess that means I'd have to help them keep going that extra little bit

Signed up, would love to go and visit but it's a little far for me I think it's sad when cultural heritige is left to decay, but seems that people don't recognise the importance of it. Maybe if people felt more of a pride about their national identity, and learned of the pioneering efforts of people like those at Bletchley Park, they wouldn't be so antisocial or destructive.

    Re: Save Bletchley Park!

When I was there last week, they mentioned an interesting point; if every computer user in one UK city donated £1, then they would have enough money to do all required refurbishments and run the entire museum for the foreseeable future.

    Come on Hexus user!

I've never been there which seems a bit crazy considering I'm a geek who works in Milton Keynes.

    I want to go.

Just not had the spare time and way of getting there yet.

It shouldn't be closed down. Anyone that knows anything about Cryptography and so on would know that... it's like... years of history on one small site!

    Re: Save Bletchley Park!

Mediaboy, whereabouts do you hail from? There's likely to be someone from near wherever it is going there for the 1st Dec meet... It was the biggest one last year (I believe, confirmation Rai?), and hopefully will be again this year Even if there's no-one near you going try to get down, it's sure to be a blast

Shocking that it's allowed to get into this state - you think Bill Gates could stump up a few hundred thousand.
