Quick paypal/ebay question...

W00t I just sold mah Reading ticket for £285 pounds!!! But paypal saies payment has been sent but on hold, waiting for positive feedback from the buyer.

'Please post the item right away. We'll release the funds when one of the following occurs:

* you receive positive feedback from the buyer
* it's been 21 days since the payment date and you haven't received a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal on the transaction being held'

Is this all ok?

am just a bit confused because I though the money comes through straight away?

mmmm not sure TBH,

but i know a paypal "echeque" happens when buyer has not currently got Debit/credit card verified with paypal, and the funds are to be payed by Direct debit. it will show as an uncleared amount.

i would'nt send the ticket at all. sounds like a scam to me... but i could be wrong.

also whats the guys feedback like and how long has he/she been a member

papal says I have been payed but it is pending (papal is holding the money) because its waiting for positive feedback from the seller. Should I just ask them to give me positive feedback so the money go's through?

and yes I know the picture is wrong, still got loads for it though..

ok this could be because your feedback is low. Below 50 i think paypal have started to do this.

Nah, I received the same message not long ago, I've got near 300 @ 100%...

Despite this message I was able to use the funds in my paypal account to pay for other transactions. Whether or not Im supposed to be able to do this I don't know, it should be the same rules for withdrawing and using paypal funds, surely.

Give them a ring mate. They froze my account for fraud....because i was using the account to much!! so they punish you for using it as its convenient!!

I Don't like paypal for selling it's too easy for the buyer to do a "clame" back even if they have had the item.

I tend to use Nochex as it checks the buyer and card's they use to stop fraude.

I have only ever had one claim made as the item was not delivered.

The Royal Mail kindly delivered the package, sent recorded delivery, back to me 6 months later.

The buyer has given positive feedback but papal still says the money is pending...... does it take time for papal to catch up with eBay.

My friend got screwed over on reading tickets he bought off ebay the guy said he got screwed over by paypal/ebay and that he will refund them 350+ 500 paypal fees, my friend got told by paypal it was too late to make a claim so he lost like 500 pounds.

TBH if the guy has 613 feedback and 100% positive I reckon it is fairly safe...
