by the way, 'work' for me is volunteer work at shopmobility, its unpaid but at least I get experience in various things..

anyways.. my PC spec is around 7 years old, this happens when i even start a game and i have no money to get a new PC.. so that is why i am not coming to this LAN, even though I would love to.

thats about it for now, i will keep reading the social section to see whats happening..

Well maybe when I get a proper PC of my own, Madduck will let you borrow his for the weekend? It's what he's doing for me at this one, so I don't see why not (It is up to Madduck himself, of course)

ferret has the dibs on the comp obviously but if he is not going to need it then its there for someone else who does.

it may be just me being paranoid but something could potentially be up with the car... strange vibrations at certain rpm's coming from the back, exhaust isnt loose at all - im hoping iv pinned it down to the spare wheel being loose, had a set of alloys in the back on friday night and it was super super loud - took em out and drove it today and it was better but still there, tightened it up just now but dont want to test it in case its still there this wont affect the LAN obviously as its miles away but it has me worried.. aaanyways.

Well I've got a friend who can build me a comp, just needs to know what I want. I have no idea what anything means, so i'll just try explaining to him what sort of games I want to run, and let him decide

Btw, what is the most graphically demanding game? CoD4?

its probably worth finding out how peoples comps at the lan handled it and devising a spec based on that if your looking to make a "good enough"'er.
