Tigs - will your insurer allow you to temporarily add the car to your own policy, rather than being temporarily added to your mothers?


Tesco allowed me to do that with the various hire cars I had (and I was under 21 at the time).

I hadn't thought of that... might cost more though. But I need my car to be insured at the same time as mum needs to drive it.
