Thats an errr.. interesting idea.. I personally hate having to stop and park the car, get all the way out, walk 50 yards, pick what I need and pay for it.. all that walking is a real inconvenience.
Oh wait.. I'm not america
Personally I think it is a very good idea. In my town you either have a half hour round trip walking to a local chemist or you can drive, pay to park (minimum £1) then have to fight through the crowds to get to Boots or your chosen chemist and then back again, that is if you can find a space.
And now that I live in an outlying village the problem is worse, you can't walk and driving into the centre can take about 45 minutes whereas if there was one on the industrial estate it would take about 10 and I could be on my way home again.
I can also see how it can save people time when they are on a journey, saving the hastle of a detour.
I can see the point but as I'm not in the same postion as above I feel the need to mock
If they placed them on the outskirts of towns/cities and made them 24 hour, they could be a godsend.
Unfortunately, the UK seems adamant to not embrace the 24/7 concept.

Can only be a matter of time before there are drive-thru petrol stations.
