    Come on guys! It's a fantastic cause that has had too much neglect over the past few years.

    If you can come along and join us for the day at Bletchley Park then it would be appreciated. I am so proud to have a place like this, with so much important history in my Home town.

    Details of the meet are in the social forum, otherwise please feel free to PM me.

    Tigs x

    An interesting way to support them is to attend some of their evening winter lectures. (I can't include a link as I don't have enough posts under my belt apparently.)

    I did this a few years ago and whilst I won't claim to have understood all the technical stuff, it did give a sense of what was going on at the time.
    The lectures weren't free but only cost £3 or £4 each at the time. No idea what they cost now though.

    I've considered going to a couple too... I'll keep an eye on the site for any interesting ones... usually they're on a weekday evening though which means I have to be organised enough to get home from work on time!

    We'll definitely keep doing the Bletchley Park Anuual Meet to keep the HEXUS support alive!

    Re: Bletchley Park Fundraiser Launched :)

    Another funding session has gone on and they've been given a nice wedge of cash now ;

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/03...hley_gov_cash/

    Apparently they've been given £250,000 from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, and is intended to allow managers at the historic site to deal with potholes and roof repairs.
