Mock the Week.
Saw Frankie Boyle live earlier in the year, sat in the front row. His warm up act said I looked like a peado and Frankie looked at my wife and said I was punching above my weight, was on the verge of pissing myself with laughter

None. Haven't watched TV since 1998 when I decided it was all crap.
Watched 'O Brother Where Art Thou Now'last night though for the first time.
What a fabulous movie.
Sometimes, in the cafe, I pick up a paper, The Sun or The Mirror, perhaps, and there's a headline about a 'TV Star'
Star? I think to myself. Who's that then?
Haven't read newspapers for ten years either. When I did, it was The Guardian.
On reflection, in their own biased way, Guardian almost as bad as the Sun.
Hmm.
I did watch Live 8 a few years back, enjoyed that.
I think the rot set in having three daughters who watched all the soaps, Big Brother and those virtual reality shows. Drove me nuts having that going on in the background.
Lemme see, yes, Top Gear is good and I used to enjoy Casualty (is that still going?) and Jools' Hollands' Later I liked.
Odd, I have a TV Tuner in my media machine and having just moved home recently, can now get a good TV signal. So one evening I decided to watch TV. I tried, I gave it about 90 minutes, about 7-30pm - 9pm. It's still rubbish, how do they get away with all that?
When I sometimes see a newspaper there's usually a story about a 'TV Star'. I have not a clue who they are, usually.
I do like a good movie though. And on DVD I have all the Life On Mars series 1 & 2, they were good, imo.
Maybe I am missing out but I don't think so. I'd rather play all the Call Of Duty games online and watch films. And if I'm not doing that I always have music playing.
I watched 'O Brother Where Art Thou Now' for the first time the other night, what a fabulous film.
I see where you are coming from and share your sentiments about TV .."stars". I never know who they are either..
I suppose it depends what kind of movies you like but certainly things like 24, are just a really long Movie with actual actors in it, not soap actresses.
The first season of Heroes is great if you like Comic book movies etc.. The new seasons isn't too great though.
Lost is good if you like people to make you ask a lot of questions which they have no intention of answering... *!?**!!s
The Unit is great to if you like special ops/army type stuff.
I have phases of TV Shows and Movies but they are both great entertainment for mindlessly wasting hours of your life
Battlestar Galactica
Dexter
Eureka
Fringe
Generation Kill
Ghost Hunters
House
Stargate SG-1/Atlantis
