    Well done m8

Just got back from getting my A level results, and I got a CCD.

I got the required amount of points for my first offer (just), but they required at least one B, so I'm calling now to find out if they will still accept me.

Woohoo, just got through, and before I asked if I had been accepted they said I had

    That's the main thing IMO!

Now.. time for a bit of celebrating

I got the following A levels:

    Economics - A
    Maths - A
    Business Studies - B

Pretty chuffed with that, especially as I was aiming for 3 B's, wish I'd done more work for bus stud now though as it's my strongest subject so I did no revision for it. Ah well I've got in my first choice uni (Edinburgh)

Got 3 As in Econ, Politics and History.
Did pretty awful in the A2s but with our examination system being in the state it's in my points from AS brought me up.

My attendance was poor to say the least and effort was minimal.

/me is ashamed of the A level system

I did much worse at my AS's, a year ago I got a U in AS maths and was told by the head of maths to drop it, I got my head of year to change his decision though and now I've got an A in the A level. I was trying to find him today to rub his face in it but he wasn't around

    GCSE - AAAABBCCCC

    AS - BBBC

bit gutted in both, missed 3 A*s in GCSE by hardly anything, and today missed 2 A's in AS but 10 marks out of 300 a piece, 3%

still overall pretty pleased also got a level 2 distinction for some carpy business extra paper

Well done slicky, those are well impressive grades, especially the maths, I know what a b*tch maths A-Level can be.

Swafeman - chin up, what is the A2 year for?

NYP - that's pretty hash, but hopefully you'll be better suited to the second year (those were AS, right?).
