Hmm I asked my brother this question recently - He said yes, which I agreed with. But not specifically piloted by aliens.
Of course UFOs exist. Some of them may become IFOs, and may be I-able, but never get I'd. But I'd say it's a cold, hard fact that UFOs exist.
Now if you'd asked about flying saucers, or spacecraft visiting from other planets, or stars, or universes, or dimensions, or time periods, well ..... let's just say that that's a LOT less clear.
But I know UFOs exist. I've seen one, and it certainly never got identified ..... to me.
I'm unable to identify most flying objects any more accurately that "it's a plane" so yeah, they exist
But answering the question in the spirit it was asked: I believe there is potential for them to exist. Whether of not they do and aliens are amongst us yada yada yada, I'm not so sure.
I do believe there is some truth in the matter, but what that may be I have no idea. I think as far as the science of it goes, we are merely scratching the surface of possibilities.
I'm a firm believer in alien life existing elsewhere in the universe - whether they're coming here in craft is a whole other question though.
I keep an open mind on it because I know someone I trust who's seen something very strange flying around. I'm of the opinion that most 'flying saucer' type UFO sightings are either simple misidentification or very hi-tech military hardware.
Like many things a definitive answer either way wouldn't really surprise me.
Edit, apparently we could have from 361 to 31,573 technically advanced civilisations in our own galaxy.

I absolutely 100% believe that life in some form exists elsewhere in this Universe, and most likely elsewhere in this Galaxy. As to whether or not that life is relatable to ours, and if it built inter-planetary transportation, and if within the past 100 or so years they came to earth.... that's increasingly less and less likely.
But alien life of some type, certainly.

Seen lights spinning round in the sky myself, so would say yes I do believe they exist. Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
But not Jane or Hannah?
Same as some others here - UFOs are quite common. Alien lifeform UFOs though.. no. If we detect alien life we're going to do it someway further out that Earth's atmosphere and I think the chances of any being present in any realistic space and time window for us to actually observe it are minute.

I am fairly convinced on the matter, although the desire for it to be true almost certainly clouds my judgement!
The universe is a very old and very large place, to think we are the most evolved entities within it is, at the very least, naive.
Now add the possibility of dimensional travel in and the possibilities increase astronomically.
There has been enough cover-ups from the US and USSR.....whether any of them were genuine UFO encounters or merely governments wanting us to think they were UFO cover-ups (to advert attention away from the truth), only a handful of people really know....
The inca star charts and prehistoric "spaceship" and "spacemen" drawings are yet more possible evidence of highly evolved beings being out there.
Lets just hope that if/when we do get visited publicly, it isn't just to wipe us out

Sentient life somewhere else in the universe? No doubt about it and I'd wager there's lots of it.
Are they coming here; mutilating cattle, performing homoerotic experiments on rednecks and generally causing mischief? I find that a lot harder to believe.
For a start, races with the ability to travel faster than light(assuming it's possible at all) probably have something better to do or are at least capable of some much better mischief
I don't know about UFOs on Earth at the moment, but to think that there isn't some other lifeforms out there somewhere in the universe is ignorant.
I always put it this way. If the universe is infinite and the chance of life is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (add as many more as you want!) to 1 there is still an infinite number of life forms in the universe.
