New Doctor Who?

After reading this I got thinking of who would be good to replace the new Dr Who. I've narrowed it down to:
Jeremy Paxman
Stephen Fry
Boris Johnson

The howard interview comes to mind for paxman, especially if you replace Michael with a Dalek 'Did you threaten to overrule him' 'EXTERMINATE' etc

My suggestion, once again (one day the world will see I'm right.. ) David Neilson ("Roy Cropper") would be ideal imo; quirky, a good actor, just the right side of eccentric to get the necessary comic/serious balance.

We need another crazy mancunian to play the doctor as Chris Eccleston gave it that bit of northern cheekiness when he played it.

Oh and Roy Cropper as the doctor.... I imagine that could also be quite funny as well.
