Quick question, can you adjust the ringing time on a phone before it gets to voicemail?

Mine does 6 rings but its not long enough, most of the time i cant get the phone out of my pocket before it reaches voicemail.

How can i make it ring longer? (at least 9 rings).

Its a sonyericsson k850 T-mobile

Oh yeah done it now, rang T-mobile and extended to 30 seconds ring time (maximum).
