    Bargains...

No, this isnt a thread about where to find those last minute gems, only a thread to tell of something you've purchased that has really been worth every penny

for me its this keyboard im typing on, i was just thinking about it earlier (yeah i suck) and realised just how old it acturally is, (at least 7 years) im still yet to find a keyboard i like as much as my £5 memorex and even the media buttons work with vista! it even came in a purple carry case lol

im sure most of you will have something that is still going the distance despite not costing all that much and being heavily used day in day out?

    Re: Bargains...

I got a free logitech mouse with a pc years and years ago. It was USB and lasted all those years (until summer this year) serving as my gaming mouse until I threw my hands up and brought them back down on the mouse breaking the button.

I'm yet to find a more suitable gaming mouse than that. The £6.99 gigabyte one is more comfortable though.

    Re: Bargains...

I bought a few nice things.

I have to say I'm most proud of my Samsung U800 mobile phone. For £100 the build quality is really nice. With 1GB memory onboard and the option to stick 8GB memory card in it, it makes a good dictaphone aswell. It's just a nice solid phone.

Also I have to say my Compaq 3950 PDA deserves a mention. I've had it for over six years now. Surprising the screen works and I still only find myself charging it up once a week. It is just something I now find hard to replace as PDA's are turning into smartphones. I guess the only thing that I would be replacing it for is for something slimer as it is quite bulky. It bulges in your pocket. That bugs me a little.

Also my Advent Chrome keyboard is quite nice. And doesn't cost much.

Oh, and my PURE DAB radio. I think the model is called Move. And yeah, it's chrome. I guess I'm starting to get a thing for stainless steel type things.
It has a 40 hour battery life. Because I'm in a shared house I listen to things on my PC using heaphones. But I use a line out lead from my PC to this radio and it makes a handy speaker as well.

    Re: Bargains...

    Two of my new kites
Radsail EVOII 10m, got it half price as an introductory offer
Ozone FrenzyFX 11m, again half price

Electronics wise, probably the bluetooth dongle for my computer. Never knew you could do so many things with it :O (eg using my phone as a media center remote (of sorts))
