Yarrick01 is definitely one of the strongest brutes for his level. No flashy moves (stealing, piledriver, etc.), no power pets, but good stats for the level, and very good at just destroying the opponent's HP before it's done to him. It's probably best to wait until you gain a very useful ability before trying TBH.

Umm, if you hadn't said L4, I would've thought that 'Sloss 2' is one of your's. That one is L3, but has a bear, and challenged my current no1 (Mega Sentai) earlier.

I was actually going to mention that one of my character has more HP at L10 than our L15 leader. I am not sure why, but she seems to get quite a bit of HP per level (when she receives nothing but HP). I should note that her stats are otherwise not that great.

No, haven't crossed paths with Sloss 2 & will probably avoid him, sounds a bit handy. (On the subject of 'who's who', anyone know who FreakyStylz is...? Turned up as Fallguy's pupil.)

Anyway - meet teamaker, nothing wildly special but like easynowpunk he has a couple of decent skills & won 5 out of last 6 fights. Unlike fallguy44 who will insist on dropping his club. Needs a motivational talk, he can't seem to get past this problem with Stevie's brutes, it's purely a mental block thing, that's all it is. (oh yeah, and the whacking great mallets may have something to do with it.)

Maybe if yarrick's infatuation with Miss Kanji continues he will become too distracted to concentrate...

I am pretty sure that a bear has over 100HP so it's pretty hard to fight head on until at least L10.

But so far, I have no pet brutes with very special abilities (they exist, just not one of mine).

Looking at their skills, I wouldn't have thought that they were bad brutes. Especially mesotheliomajjk who can random the opponent unarmed in short-ish order. The problem for both is their damage output is dire (dire weapon selection, no fierce brute), and they can't last a prolonged battle.

3 of fallguy's challenges, he decided to get his act together - shame he doesn't fight like this all the time. Just random I guess but it often seems that he has much more success against better brutes (these 3 had good weapons, wolves, thieving skills, you name it) when challenged, than if they were his 'own' fights. Annoying.

Won his today's 3 as well though, so can't complain.

Haha, congrats Fallguy44. I was going to see who you beat today, but it looks like Steve (and a couple others) decided to challenge your brute in the last hour, so those fights can no longer be viewed. I don't remember revealing Dekirudake here though, either I forgot, or you deduced well xD

Regarding DDR_AxBattler, he was THE de-facto loser brute amongst my first batch of brutes (recognisable with the DDR tag). He won 1 out of his first 6 matches on the first day, and went on to lose every one until one game before L3. At that point, I decided to just use him to level up my other brutes. Recently, I found out that the first few levels can be misleading (DDR_Rock started off as one of the weaker one), so I've decided to give him a chance to redeem himself.

Ironically, DDR_Yuki was perceived as my hero brute from my first batch, winning his first 6 fights and most afterwards in straight sets (without actively seeking weak brutes). I dropped him yesterday.

fallguy did not do well today, many defeats in a row, only won 1 of his own fights. i could've fished yesterdays fights out of history but i didn't replay them so haven't got the right links - for the record they were fouros, justdoneit & tuberkel. (random selections).

Yeah. How did you run into this character anyway? Did I attack one of your brute with him before? Edit: Ahh. I should point out that at the time (L3), the guy did not have a bear yet. Just a hatchet, knife, and Vitality (I think he just poked the L10 to death with that knife).

I seem to get more bears than panthers/wolves. In fact, Miss Kanji is the only active character with a panther of the characters I've kept so far. I now have three bears (still looking for one with good skills to back the bear up in case of a net-trap).

i've kind of stopped fighting the HEXUS brutes, because i've found 2 very weak brutes who have rubbish skills and a crap weapon - DCFVGB1 and MOONSHIELD. all 4 of my brutes havent lost yet versus them in the 5 days been fighting them.

tempted to say i'm using fallguy44 as a training tool too

steeeveee and ibodan are now both lvl 11 - both got strength upgrades. steeeveee's still losing against everyone who challenges him - feel free to use as a training tool (which you probably already are)

yarrick is also being attempted to use as a trainer - but hes against winning pretty much all comers.

Hehe, yeah, I do abuse some of the weak brutes too. But it does get boring fighting the same weak brutes all the time which is why I often save one fight against a strong brute (to see if I can get a good fight). BTW, has Yarrick01 ever fought Grey_Mata?

One of my most promising/secretive protegé has finally decided to break out from her routine of destroying weak brutes, and started challenging 3 brutes above her level: Samcrossman, Grey_mata and Fallguy44. Definitely proved herself to be a very strong brutes.

Her style is very similar to Yarrick01 and Grey_Mata. No flashy move, no pet. Just a case of very good defence, combined with very high damage potential. f34r! xD

It really takes armour to reliably beat armour. I do have a more trouble with Yarrick01 than Grey_Mata because that net can neutralise pet-reliant brutes. But those two are tough.

My L8 armoured girl (still lying low) had the misfortune of fighting a L17 in her first battle at the tournament today. The guy survived by 1HP (survival skill).

Dropped today is Mesotheliomajjk. Hero at L5-6, but punching bag at L11. He was my first weapon counter specialist. He can be a nuisance to characters with 3 weapons or less without Martial Art (e.g. Fallguy44 - want a rematch? ), but he is a punching bag for most L11.

Well I may have him fight until his replacement hits L10 (soon). But I won't bother levelling him to 12.
