    FAO: Didcot People

I'm currently looking at moving and Didcot is one area that is appealing at the moment.

Can anyone give me any honest insights into Dicot, in particular the "Ladygrove Estate".

House prices seem to be ok around there, with 3bed new-ish houses for £200k or there abouts.

    Feedback on Schools, Crime etc

I live on that very estate m8

As for crime I can honestly say that in the 4 years I have lived on the estate that I have never heard of anything happening. I know this sounds a little far fetched but it's the gods honest truth. No doubt that there is the odd incident but nothing that comes to my mind at the moment, so it can't be that bad.

I know there are 2 Primary Schools on the estate. I can't say anything about them as I do not have any children so have never come into contact with them.

Only the 1 pub on the whole estate at the moment, although I have heard there is another one coming along, and it's not a far walk into the town center where there are a lot more pubs. Also on the estate you have a doctors, child care center, football club, leisure center, which has only just opened, dentists, hair dressers, chemists, along with the usual All days (mini co-op), chippy and Chinese take away.

Depending on where about on the estate you live the train station is only a 5-15 minute walk, same goes for the town center.

We have just started looking for a 3 bed as well in this area, houses are selling quickly at the moment, ours was only on the market 3 days. 3 beds go for £180k up-wards. I think every house on the estate has an alarm as standard as well.

Hope this helps, if you can think of anything you wanna ask I'll try my best to answer any questions.
