Still, I guess it's only as stupid as start > shut down

I have never found that stupid I must say.

In my mind the 'Start' menu is to start a task/application/process so it makes perfect sense.

In the same way that you would click Start -> Microsoft Word you would Start -> Shutdown as in start the shutdown process?

Maybe I am just odd but it seems logical to me.

btw did anyone hear about tech support and vista?
the support person told them to click on start and of course vista doesnt have a start button.
so the user got more and more frustrated not being able to find it lol.
