it was 2 years when i passed my test.
imagine that! she tried a practical and failed every time for 2 years then had to re-take her theory . . .

I have no idea, but i think the smart thing to do here is revise prior your theory exam.

I find this really hard to believe, 950 times? You'd have to get 60% in less than 50 attempts, surely, even if you did random guesses

Surely after the 100th attempt it was time for the korean version of the dvla to say, enough is enough and that she clearly isn't able to grasp the required road safety rules. Anymore than that and as has been said she's more likely to just fluke it rather than actual learn what she needs to know. Surely the dvla could have got someone to read her the test if it was a reading issue.
Sounds a little crazy that the people responsible for making sure people are safe on the roads let her take it that many times until she got it right.
