Especially when they go wrong. Had a 20mm fuse explode in my face yesterday afternoon. Lovely evening spent in A&E to see if I had any glass in my face Turns out I was very lucky - one piece cut my eyelid - 2mm to the right and it would have done some serious damage apparently...

The machine was dead, and the fuse on the main switch had failed, so I replaced it with an identical one, switched the box on whilst looking at the board to see if it was that fuse that going first... and it did.

Manufacturer is getting a phone call on Monday morning - shouldn't have failed like that, scared the crap out of me!
