Hi all, Once again I'm looking to my fellow Hexites for advice.
This is a precursor to what may be a rather larger 'clear out' of my tech as I will be away from home for initially a period of 2-years and possibly much longer.
I purchased my 8-core Mac Pro in December 2008. Apart from the stock boot HDD I've installed 3x Samsung Spinpoint 1TB drives, and it has a second Superdrive salvaged from my dead G5.
Model details may be found here.
It of course costs more in the UK and in Singapore than the UK; I ended up paying closer to £2,000 for the machine. How much do you think it's worth? Based on the responses of fellow Hexites I will decide whether to post this to the FS section. The single model sold for $2,799, and included two 2.8 GHz, quad-core Intel Xeon 5400 processors (for a total of 8 cores), 2 GB of RAM, a 320 GB hard disk, a SuperDrive, and an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256MB of VRAM
Anyone thinks I should just keep it, or may be take it with me / have it shipped across?
Cheers, M.
P.S. @Mods: I hope I'm not stepping on any toes as usual; if you feel this belongs elsewhere do what you feel is best.
