Finally got around to watching it on iPlayer. Was very good. Glad they decided to do a decent 90 minutes programme rather than a mediocre series. Although, if the feedback is this good, they might be persuaded to do one, which I would be a bit wary about.

Based on what I read here, I watched this thing.

I enjoyed it, twas good.

I haven't watched any TV for at least 14 years now but this was worth watching, I liked the original series.

But, perhaps a little too much pathos and not enough humour.

I'm told the pub scenes - The Nags Head - were filmed in The Pelton Arms at Greenwich though I have yet to confirm this, certainly looks like it though.

And the school - looks like Henry Compton School in Fulham, although I guess it could be any of many London schools.

Enjoyable.
