Anyone going? Keep an eye out for the Chongshindo displays, a mate and I are doing some demonstrations.

Never done a demo before so this should be interesting.. I think we'll be doing some very close combat locks/take downs. We should be good if the adrenaline and nerves don't get the better of us.

I'm just hoping the mats they use on the stages are nice and soft cos I'm going to be used as a rag doll especially on some of the full on hip throws.

Well that was one of the best days out I've had in a long time. Some great demonstrations from martial artists the world over, and I got to fight and demo in the same place. Even got to see the Shaolin monks demonstrate their stuff, including this one 4th generation Shaolin who took great pleasure in having someone beat him with wooden broomsticks until they broke, then he started on a scafold bar.

Anyway, hopefully I'll have some video and pics to put up soonish. Dunno how much there was of me, but it should be interesting to watch none the less

Sounds cool. How long have you been doing Martial arts?

About 5-6 years now. Did 4-5 years of Taekwondo, now I'm training in a multistyle art called Chongshindo.
