    Re: Excel help

Massive massive thank you to Lucio who sorted it all for me. I lost the work I did yesterday ( too tired, too many back ups and some poorly judged ''sorting'') allowed me to write off a couple hours of work.

E-mailed it all over to him and he sorted 2 spreadsheets and over a 100 columns of data for me, some of which were 1000+ rows deep.

    Thanks again Lucio!

Hey no problem, it's easy when you know how and tbh, the guys who posted the ABS forumula earlier saved me 10-15 mins hunting through the help files as I've not used that one before

If it's not too complex I would

    1. create a blank worksheet
    2. assuming the top left cell in the chart is OriginalSheet!C3 set NewSheet!C3 to be =ABS(OriginalSheet!C3)
    3. copy and paste to the bottom right cell in the new sheet
    4. change the data series references manually in the chart from OriginalSheet! to NewSheet!

That way you don't break any of the formulas that reference the original data.
Funnily enough I did pretty much the same thing, only used an IF formula to only apply the result if the cell wasn't blank.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
