So I bought this Expensive Apple Product

And its broken. £600 for a simfree unlocked 32gb mobile phone is a lot, but the screen really helped seal the deal.

    But:

Signal is crap, how reviewers can miss this
Yellow smudge in the middle left of the screen, I think its growing and becomes more apparent after use.

Adam was tempted by an Apple product too. And look where that led.

I bet you someone designs some sort of plunger so that you can use the iPhone without holding it.

The yellow on the screen might disappear after a couple of days use - apparently one of the bonding materials for the LCD takes a while to dry and they left the factory a bit... erm... quick.

Also... serves you right for buying an iPhone.

It's ok - Steve Jobs has responded now. His advice?

"Just avoid holding it in that way."

or you can buy an Apple case to shield sensitive areas.

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

Us mere mortals can now laugh in the face of the Apple Geek

*edit* This is Apple's version of a secret handshake - having to hold the phone a certain way, or it won't work.

Re: So I bought this Expensive Apple Product

Last time I bought an Apple Product was the mac mini about 4 years back, I ended up taking that back 36 hours later. The guy at the store looked like I just told him I killed, ate, skinned and made into a pair of gloves his dog.
