    skype with 0845 for incomoming calls.

    i have looked at the skype site. but i can't find a complete answer.

    anyone know if there's any Easy to setup service that has a Incoming 0845 voip, that i can use just while my PC is running? does not need to by skype, but does need to be cheap.

    Does it have to be 0845? Sipgate (www.sipgate.co.uk) allow you to have any UK exchange number assigned. (so if you are on say a BT talk plan you can dial in for nothing. There are other VoIP services - I use Sipgate and it works well for me.

    yer i would like a 08 number really, the reason is my new website has my home phone number on it ATM and since it's been there ive got about 1 crank call a day. i figure if it was a 0845 they might not bother.

    i found this after a few searches, and they offer a skype service. cost me 9.95 +vat for a number that redirects for life. as long as it used for 3 mins a month after the first 60 days.

    Sipgate off a free o845 or 0870 number as well as a geographic one. No restrictions.
