Looks pretty awesome, I'd imagine it wouldn't fair too well against a manned aircraft (e.g. one that will make evasive manoeuvres), but still - omg lasers!

Surely they'd be able to program a tracking system that could just keep the laser focused on it? Downside too is that it's a single laser so can't be used for more than 1 target which missiles are better for I guess as you can launch 5 in quick succession.

But still, very awesome I want one for taking down birds when I'm bored in the garden.
