Parcel delivery times

Has anyone else had really strange delivery times for parcels from Royal Mail or Parcel Force? This morning (Sunday!) I was awoken by the postman at 8am with a parcel sent 1st class (which should have arrived yesterday), and we've had Parcel Force arriving at 7am midweek with deliveries. Is it just me/Bath which is having this bout of early morning/strange day deliveries or are other people being dazed and confused by the post?
