Members of the family...(share your cats/dogs/etc with HEXUS)

We've had a couple of dog related threads on the boards, some happy, some remembering happier times. It reminded me how much they are members of the family, and so I thought it only right to share a few pics of those that are always happy to see us

    So, without further ado:

    My Golden Retriever, Chloe:

and my Nan & Grandad's Golden Spaniel, Goldie.

Both utterly fantastic dogs, Chloe is getting older so is the relaxed, authoratitive one, Goldie is the one that is permanently set to 'Play'.

Re: Members of the family...(share your cats/dogs/etc with HEXUS)

Fern is 14 years old. I consider her to be my first dog, despite having a couple in the family before her, since before I was born. We got her when I was 9 and had not long moved to Reading, so I really bonded with her. She is very inteligent, although due to her age I think she can't be bothered showing it these days. We used to play games when she was younger where I would shut her out of the room and hide a ball somewhere, then when I let her back in she would excitedly sniff around until she found it. She learnt how to pull doors open by herself.

When she was 7 she broke her front, left leg and had to have a pin put in. She never fully recovered, and we think a nerve was severed during the operation, giving her palsy on the left side of her face. With arthritis as well as two bad legs, she can barely make it out to the back garden, so we don't take her out for walks any more. I will be absolutely devastated when she dies, and I'm expecting it to come some time in the next year. The Springer Spaniel we had before her was 15 1/2 when she died.

She's not very photogenic so I don't upload many photos of her, although the ones I do take have personal, sentimental value.

Holly is 6. She's a bit dim, but knows how to manipulate people emotionally. She doesn't work things out the same way as Fern, like how to open a door, but she knows how to get attention and can be very loving. She's very passive-agressive towards Fern, because they both know Fern is higher in the pecking order. If Fern comes into the room, or starts getting stroked, Holly will push her out of the way, or get in between her and everyone else in the room. When that happens, I push Holly out of the way and give Fern some extra attention.

When I go out for a walk I often get people commenting on what a beautiful dog Holly is. She's certainly photogenic. You can see her smiling a lot of the time. Most of the photos I have show her with a winter coat, so she looks scruffy.

Whats the thumbnail code? Can a mod please resize k thx.

First picture is Bandit - Patterdale Terrier.
Second picture is the dog again with our two cats, the one where you can only see his tail is Merlin and the other one is Salem.

I did not have any say in the naming of these animals, please do not mock

Edit: I don't watch wrestling either
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Yeah they are the spit of the parents, the dad was the bigger one with the tan and the mother was smaller with and black, Loki is the same size as his mum but the same colour as his dad where as Odin is as big as his dad but looks like his mum.
Only downside of the pair of hairy bast's is Loki being epileptic

Like Max was bless him. How long has he had epilepsy? What's meds is he on? Max had epiphen, then his meds was changed to a mix of epiphen and potassium bromide. I always blamed the PB on the change in Max, he seemed fine while on just epiphen, but went wobbly on after having PB

Do you know the origin of Loki's epilepsy?

Max was diagnosed a year ago, when he was 8, rare for it to develop in a dog after the age of 5... And there was so set pattern for the seziures, they'd happen at night ususally when Max was at rest or asleep. Ken the vet now seems to think there was something wrong in his brain, he said Max showed signs of a brain tumour, that would explain why he went downhill so fast, and would explain why he'd be wobbly on his back legs, some days he could run and jump, and others he could barely stand, we'd only been to the vets two weeks ago for bleed tests and he passed them and passed his health check, of course Ken never saw his wobbles, Max always seemed to be good on his legs when we took him He'd been checked for dysplacia, and no sign of it, his muscle tone was good and so were his hip scores. But people see a wobbly german shep and automatically think dysplacia.

I hope Loki is ok, I know how worrying it can be x

Oops sorry, gone off topic Everybody has gorgepus pets btw... I shall add some of my cats

Some gorgeous family members so far, would be rude not to introduce people to Finn, or Finn Binn as he is more commonly known around here.

Has a few behavioural propblems, such as emptying the contents of the bin any time he is left alone, hence the name. Main problem we have with him though is that with a face like that how can you stay mad at him?

I'll let people guess at what he is and see if people can work it out
"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.

Im not sure what he is but a wild guess i would say a cross bread, terrier and boxer maybe?

P.S: the way he sits and stares like that reminds me of our ex dog bear! take a peek,

He also would sit like this when he had "done something wrong" he use to eat the towls of the side and empty the bin when left on his own! he also always without fail would get so excited when we got back that he would "mess" on the floor lol unfortauntly we had to let him go as he became aggressive
