Just hope they manage to pull out those that are still alive.
Lots of ideas about what happened, one involved a micronisation plant. Fine dust is incredibly explosive and wouldn't normally result in a fire.

I work at a small chemical / pharmaceutical research establishment and we were shown the film footage of a similar place exploding in Germany. If there's ever a fire here will run like hell. The film included a tanker going boom, chemical drums were found 100's of meters away, very scary.

god this is OLD news now!

my friend lives across the road from it and mistook the *BANG* for the front door of her flat closing??? noticed the helicopters flying about... but didnt take any notice of it... so i foned her up and was like "ARE YOU OK?!?! you still coming to the exam??? etc" and she's like "eh??" so i told her to look out the window and she's like "oh holy S***!"

I cant believe how much coverage this is getting on the news! there's been more horrific things happen in glasgow than this too...

I have every faith in the emergancy workers working away up in maryhill (since i know a few of them ) and they'll do their very best to get everyone out in such deadly circumstances.

I can't be the only one that thinks the whole "surviving a building collapse" near the bottom of the article is a bit out of place, and doesn't really tell you much thats going to help you in a situation like this?

    is she odd?

a shock like 4 plastics ovens blowing up would shake tiles off the house if its as close as you say

i mean, look at the mess it did to the factory, there nearly bugger all left!
