FWIW, I have drawstring blinds in 3 out of 4 rooms in my flat, I would not welcome a ban on them because I don't wanna go through the rigmarole of replacing them.

The good thing is that, possibly like most other posters in this thread, you probably have no children.

so i google for "drawstring blind" and this thread is top of the pile, then i GIS for it, and it has lots of pictures of hats... cowboy hats...
