    Re: Christmas Lists

    - Camera, mine just died recently, still 7 years of good service. Nothing too fancy mind, point and shoot with some sort of optical zoom.
    - CD player, just bought some CDs and realised that ripping and listening to them just isn't the same.

Which reminds me, I've got a thread to start about CD players later...

Have a gander at this one to give you some thoughts:

As for myself, my wife keeps asking me the same thing without giving me a budget, so i'm trying to get a range of ideas:

    £30 Joby Gorillapod SLR Zoom

£47 Lowepro Backpack for camera & notebook (this seems a bargain)

£215 Humax FOXSAT (poor signal in my area for regular TV, and we use a normal old Sky thing with SCART now )

    Re: Christmas Lists

For some other ideas, I can recommend gloves and hats from this place:
    http://www.fatface.com/
(I used the one in London Euston station)

These fingerless gloves (£17.50) (which you make in to mittens) have been brilliant for me in this weather, keeping me warm, but letting me still use the iphone when needed.

I got a brown one of these hats also £17.50, and though I probably do look a little silly, feel very snug.

    Just an idea

I can get 70% off stuff in there, courtesy of my sister. Should probably take a closer look!
