Top gear is jackass for cars. And I mean that with nothing but praise

Ooooh a riposte

I can't actually see it making it to court but it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall if it did.
Can't see either side making a volte-face..
Base: -5/10
Modifier: +7 for making me spark a chuckle on an otherwise dull day
Net: 2/10
Conclusion: On the roachcoach scale of comedy™: Almost Static
Its a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally slow day
Edit: It would be corking if the Beeb laywers were all late and gave the reason as "car ran out of power, sorry judge"
Its just Tesla getting some marketing because the cars are actually been made now? Surely its a bit of a non story and we should just all stop looking at those silly people, and order a Fisker....
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Sadly it could be argued that the UK has the worst libel laws of any democratic country in the world. Most notably with powerful companies / gloabl bodies using it to stifle scientific debate, as in its current form it is highly prejudiced against the defendant. Thankfully it is in the process of being redrafted by the current government, though whether the changes will go far enough remains to be seen.
As for Top Gear the reason it works is because it features three middle aged men, who;
(a) Have strong opinions
(b) Old enough to not take themselves too seriously
(c) Bicker with comedy as good friends do
(d) Know that in the end the show needs to be fun
Anyone with half a brain doesn't watch it in order to listen to an informed opinion, but for a bit of light relief. Though they could use other people to do reviews and still keep it entertaining, e.g. the show with their mums and small cars.
If Wisdom is the coordination of "knowledge and experience" and its deliberate use to improve well being then how come "Ignorance is bliss"
'New Top Gear' has done plenty of serious reviews, though that's tailed off in the past 5 or 6 years. Reviews were the staple of the show until series 6 or 7, from cars all across the value range. Sure, those reviews weren't always serious, but the majority were proper reviews with proper verdicts.
Still, of course, I agree with pretty much everyone here - Tesla are out for a bit of publicity and, without seeing the actual case brought against the BBC, from the face of it, it looks hideous.
top gears good but nearly all of it is set up
